ZeroPrivacy does not sell or rent personal information to third parties for any purpose. We are not a data broker, nor are we affiliated with any data brokers, and we have no financial relationship with the ones we cover in our removal services.
As a registered user or paying customer, you remain the sole owner of your Personal Data and may request its disclosure or deletion at any time.
If you wish to remove your personal data from our systems, you can delete your account from the Login & Security section of your account page. Once deleted, all the information we hold about you will be permanently destroyed.
In some cases, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to valid requests from public authorities.
All user data, both in transit and at rest, is encrypted. ZeroPrivacy has achieved SOC 2, Type II security certification to ensure the highest level of data security.
We rely on third-party vendors such as Amazon Web Services, Amplitude, Crisp, Google, Hubspot, Meta, Stripe, and others to deliver and market our services, and manage user data. The complete list of third-party vendors we work with is available in our Privacy Policy below.
ZeroPrivacy honors data privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for all users, regardless of where they live. Although ZeroPrivacy is currently intended for U.S. users only, we also adhere to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users residing in the E.U.

We may also send required account updates such as billing or account activity confirmations. If you do not wish to receive these essential communications, you must delete your account from the Login & Security section of your Account page.
Usage Data
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service via a mobile device ("Usage Data").
This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages you visit on our Service, the date and time of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

6. Retention of Data

7. Transfer of Data
Our paid subscription plans provide services for submitting opt-out, suppression, and removal requests to third-party data brokers and information aggregators (“Removal List(s)”) on your behalf (“Removal Service(s)”). If you purchase a paid subscription plan, you must provide your personally identifiable information (“PII”)—such as your full name, birth year, and home address—so that ZeroPrivacy, LLC can submit this information to data brokers and aggregators included in the Removal Lists. This data is necessary for brokers to locate your records and remove you from their databases.
However, ZeroPrivacy, LLC cannot control, guarantee, or ensure how these third parties handle your PII. By purchasing and maintaining an active subscription, you consent to ZeroPrivacy, LLC submitting your PII for the purposes of submitting opt-out, suppression, and removal requests. If you do not wish for your PII to be submitted to data brokers or aggregators, please refrain from using ZeroPrivacy’s Removal Services.
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and stored on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction, where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer your data, including Personal Data, to the United States for processing.
By agreeing to this Privacy Policy and submitting your information, you consent to the transfer of your data.
ZeroPrivacy, LLC will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will not transfer your Personal Data to any organization or country unless adequate safeguards are in place, including the protection of your data and other personal information.
8. Disclosure of Data
We may disclose personal information that we collect, or that you provide, in the following situations:

(ii) To fulfill the purpose for which you provided the information.

In compliance with CalOPPA, we agree to the following:
(a) Users can visit our site anonymously.
(b) Our Privacy Policy link includes the word "Privacy" and is easily accessible on the homepage of our website.
(c) Users will be notified of any changes to our privacy policy on our Privacy Policy page.
(d) Users can modify their personal information by updating the personal details on the Manage Profile page in their account.
Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals:
We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals, and the third-party service providers we use may also not respond to such signals. Do Not Track is a preference setting that some web browsers allow to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.
You can enable or disable Do Not Track by adjusting the settings on your web browser.
12. Your Data Protection Rights as a Resident of Any State in the United States, Including California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
If you are a resident of any state in the U.S., including California, you have certain rights under data protection laws such as the CCPA and CPRA. (b) Request to Delete Your Personal Information
If you want your personal information to be deleted from our systems, you can delete your account through the Login & Security section of your Account page. Upon making this request, we will delete the personal information we hold about you as of the date of your request and instruct any service providers to do the same. In some cases, deletion may be achieved by de-identification of your data. Please note that if you choose to delete your data, some services that rely on your personal information may no longer function properly. To delete your personal information, delete your account through the Login & Security section of your Account page. If you do not have an active account with us and are not subscribed to our email newsletter, we do not retain any personal information about you.
An exception applies to the data held by our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe retains customer transaction data to process refund requests and resolve disputes even after a customer has deleted their ZeroPrivacy account. (c) Request to Stop Selling Your Personal Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for any purpose. You are the sole owner of your personal data, and you can request its disclosure or deletion at any time.
Please note that if you request data deletion, it may affect your experience with us, as certain functionalities of our Service require your personal information to operate. You may also be unable to participate in certain programs or memberships that rely on your data. However, we will not discriminate against you for exercising your data protection rights.
